School
groups are great fun and we cater for all age groups,
from Primary to 'A' level students.
For
those that want to explore York, we are a great base
with the beauty of the beach for evening relaxation.
Or for Geographical field study, we have an abundance
of varied coastal and in land features to really test
your students skills.

Group Bookings
Here,
at the Lysander, there is nothing we like more than getting
a big group of friends together. The atmosphere that this
creates in the Hotel is what the place was built for. Lots
of laughs in a homely environment, where everyone can feel
relaxed and comfortable.
We
can cater for all kinds of group bookings, from Walking
Groups, who spend long weekends exploring our beautiful
countryside to Sequence Dancers who dance the night away
in one of the local church halls. |
| We are able to
arrange entertainment for you, in the form of a stand
up comedian/guitarist/singer. Or we can offer in house
entertainment by way of quizzes and games. (Nothing
too taxing though!!). And if you wish to make your
own entertainment, well, that's fine with us too.
Also
on offer are our themed weekends; Murder
Mystery and Fawlty Towers, which are great fun
and will definitely make the weekend go with a swing.
